Last week Jessica Wright headed off to TOWIE’s Lucy Mecklenburgh and Mario Falcone engagement party in our TAMLIN gown which she borrowed from us the day before the black-and-white themed bash.
The Only Way is Essex start kept accessories simple by adding diamond earrings, a black bag and a pair of black peep toe sandals. Strapless gowns sometimes look best when the neck is left bare and it gives the opportunity for statement earrings.

The shade: Electric Blue
When the Duchess of Cambridge and Blake Lively are both spotted wearing the same shade of blue, you know it’s a colour you’ve got to get on board with. Flattering to every skin tone under the sun, it’s an edgier alternative to tangerine or neon pink and much more wearable – heck, you can even break the cardinal sin of no black and blue with this nifty shade. For a real moment, team with complimentary dove grey or sherbet peach.

The shape: Two for one
It’s not quite your regular BOGOF deal you’ll find in your local supermarket, but it’s close. The smartest girls are using their sartorial style to get two for the price of one with a skirt and top combi. If, like Marion Cottilard you like the look of a pencil skirt and top, this is a much easier way to achieve it as you benefit from the clean lines a dress provides whilst creating the illusion of separate pieces. Or make like Fan Bing Bing and choose an overlay dress for a cool, matching look.

The show: Anne Hathaway
This girl doesn’t let a little thing like a necessary pixie crop (which she apparently cried over when being cut) stop her from giving good dress. On the promo trail for her new movie The Dark Knight, Anne Hathaway has chosen a mix of girly yet contemporary gowns, from the Grecian inspired plunging Prabal Gurung to the stunning sixties shimmer Gucci. Our favourite though, by far, is the cute and cool gingham Stella McCartney cut-out – it complements her crop to the bone.

We don’t know if  Häagen-Dazs are planning another one of these fabulous Girl’s Night In events, but we were browsing our photos from the last event, and couldn’t resist a little flashback!
This fabulous pop up boudoir was created between Cat Deeley and Matthew Williamson as well as the styling expertise of UK stylist, Grace WoodwardÂ
Girl Meets Dress were delighted to loan a lots of lovely dresses for the event and friend of GMD, Founder of FiveFiveFabulous.com Reem Kanj was invited along to play dress up, enjoy a fridge stacked full of Häagen-Dazs mini cups,  girlie dvd’s, an in house DJ and fully stocked bar.

On Tuesday evening TOWIE star Jessica Wright wore Girl Meets Dress at the London screening of Magic Mike, the sexy male stripper movie starring Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer and Matthew McConaughey.
She got in touch with us earlier on Tuesday morning to arrange the loan of our stunning ‘Louise’ gown by Hollywood designer brand Dina Bar El. We selected a few dresses for her to try on and whisked them across London on a courier for Jessica and her stylist to review and choose.
She accessorised the dress with nude heels and red lipstick – and left her hair loose.
Jessica was accompanied to the event by her boyfriend and TOWIE co-star Ricky Rayment.
