Dannii Minogue’s label is now a Royal hit after Pippa Middleton chose to wear this ‘PHOEBE’  peplum dress to the Wimbledon final last weekend. Princess Mary of Denmark was also seen in the same bluebird-print, peplum-waisted dress just two months earlier, at the christening of  baby Princess Athena.
Project D, by Dannii and business partner Tabitha Somerset-Webb is sold at a relatively accessible price point (this dress retails at £350) and the brand looks set to become even more in demand, as fans already include Holly Willoughby, Amanda Holden, Kelly Brook and Christine Bleakley.
This Phoebe design from the spring/summer 2012 collection is sold out almost everywhere now following Pippa’s seal of approval. Luckily, Girl Meets Dress have the exact dress in the Navy Blue version, and you can wear it for just £59.

The Shade:Â Nude
Taking a break from the neons and candyfloss pastels, nude is the colour de la semaine. Far from it being an ethereal or bland tone (throw thoughts of the Duchess of Cambridge’s tights out of the window!), both Kylie and Kate Moss‘ chose nudes with black lace accents to edge their outfits up. But if you want to keep it simple, take a leaf out of Yao Chen‘s book, who’s Philosophy Alberta Ferretti perfectly complemented her stunning skin tone. A lesson in less is more.

Playful and endearingly pretty, the look of Paris Couture Week was fitted and flared. The universally flattering shape was worn by the likes of Marion Cotillard, who opted for floral silk Dior Haute-Couture and Jennifer Lawrence who threw in a bright, oriental print Dior dress into the mix too; this looks set to be the style to sport next year with Dior spearheading the revolution. But as always Diane Kruger didn’t let her style crown slip for a moment in this ‘I’m cycling through the French Riviera’ cornflower blue Chanel Resort dress, a fine example of how to dress down a traditionally staid and stiff look – just add spiked flats and a beret!

The show: Katy Perry, ‘Part of Me’ Premiere
The former Mrs Russell Brand has been everywhere this week, from Sydney to LA to London to promote her new 3D movie, Part of Me. And she hasn’t disappointed on the red carpet either! Shying away from the gimmicky or gaudy gowns she has been known to be showcase, Katy went for three sophistiKATEd (geddit?) and spunky sartorial choices in Marchesa, Dolce & Gabbana and Versace. But it was London’s Marchesa ballerina-esque that got everyone talking, which she styled with Union Jack eyelashes. Spotlight on: Blake Lively
This was the week she wowed. The 24-year-old went from old school Hollywood to demure to honeyed beach babe in the flick of her golden mane. On the promo trail for her new movie Savages, she started the week in an absolutely jaw-droppingly, second skin sex siren worthy Zuhair Murad couture gown, ramped up with Veronica Lake curls and striking red lips. Her next appearance may have seemed much more conservative but the ivory Marchesa gown she chose for a taping of the David Letterman Show was anything but – the cape detail gives it an unexpected and hot right now edge. Note how she matched her Lorraine Schwartz jewellery to her crystal encrusted Louboutins. And she showed us all just why Gucci chose her as the face of their fragrance Premiere in a buttercup yellow custom made gown from the Italian powerhouse, topped off with turqouise drop earrings and a stack of bracelets. For this girl, it’s the details that count.

Spotlight on: Elizabeth Banks
Form fitting seems to be the buzz word for actress Elizabeth Banks this week, who’s been spotted out and about in a plethora of fun and flirty dresses.
