The redcarpert was rolled out again last night as the film industry’s elite gathered again for the 2010 Bafta Awards. We had our eye out for some of the female celebs we though were visions on the carpet.
St Trinian’s actress Jodie Whittaker lit-up the red carpet as she dazzled and shinned in sequinned gold column vintage dress by Giorgio Armani. It was effortless glamour and we liked that about her look. Kate Winslet was looking toned and glossy in a Stella McCartney black gown while Carey Mulligan looked every inch a star in a beautiful monochrome floral Vionnet gown. Rebecca Hall played it safe in her choice of colour but we did like her peaked shoulder Gianfranco Ferré Fall 2009 gown and she looked absolutely effortless and stunning.
From left: Lauren Laverne, Katherine Bigelow, Anne-Marie Duff, Romola Garai
Lauren Laverne looked elegant and chic in her royal blue knotted dress which she teamed with a cropped metallic jacket which was the icing on the cake. Best Director award winner Katherine Bigelow looked chic and stylish in an all over sequinned evening dress while ‘Atonement’ actress Romola Garai walked the red carpet in a strapless Erdem Fall 2009 sweetheart neckline mini dress. The Actress who later-on presented the award for best Hair and Make-up looked pretty and individual. A pregnant Anne-Marie Duff certainly glowed on the red carpet and wore a ruby red Alberta Ferretti evening gown; we just love mums-to-be who don’t hide behind boring, ill-fitting dresses – a good choice Anne-Marie.

The BAFTAS took place in London last night with the Red Carpet flooded with gorgeous gowns. Actors and actresses attended from across the globe and here are some of our favourite dresses of the night.
British nominee Carey Mulligan looked gorgeous as she appeared on the red carpet in a black and white full length floral evening dress by French designer Vionnet. The actress seems to be getting her red carpet looks right every time and we can’t wait to see her dress for The Oscars next week.
Claire Danes opted for an elegant draped Burberry dress and Jamie Winston also looked great in an Alexander McQueen Vintage dress.
Kate Winslet wore a plain but gorgeous Stella McCartney evening gown with lace detail, Kate didn’t go overboard and kept the look simple but she got it right and looked great.
