Celebrity Style – Hire Tulisa’s X Factor Look

With all the buzz around the X Factor we thought it would be fun to style our fave lippy X Factor judge Tulisa.  Tulisa’s style seems to vary every week as she experiments with various designers, lengths, shapes and fabrics.  From girly to risque, we’re more focused on what dresses the judges will be wearing than which act will be leaving.

To steal Tulisa’s style we have picked out some of our favourite designers and styles that Tulisa has worn over the last few weeks…

Carven‘s Jacquard Puffball Dress is our fabulous go-to girly dress for prom dress chic.  Fun and frivolous, this dress is a great choice for a girls night out.  Team with sky-high nude stilettos and delicate gold jewellery to complete the look.

See By Chloe‘s Black Sequinned Dress is a great choice for a night out clubbing.  Perfect for sparkling on the dance floor!  Team with platform black patent heels and a metallic clutch for an ultra glamorous occasion.

Tulisa has also been spotted wearing a couple of Herve Leger’s stunning dresses.  Here we have suggested Herve Leger‘s Halterneck Bandage Dress for its gorgeous block colours, perfect for the winter party season.  Compliment with black stilettos, a classic black clutch and chunky gold jewellery a perfect on-trend look.

Event Report: Designer Dresses at the Pride of Britain Awards 2011

So tonight is the Daily Mirror’s Pride of Britain Awards 2011.  Britain’s greatest national awards show brings together politicians, celebrities and most importantly members of the public who have proven themselves to be outstanding citizens. Yet, as the red carpet rolled out to bring in the glam audience on Monday evening, naturally there has already been much hype over the best and worst dressed attendees.  Don’t forget to watch this evening!

Here are our favourites…

New X-Factor queen Tulisa wowed bystanders with Vivienne Westwood‘s Ruben dress with Renaissance print.  The silk tie cinched in her tiny waist as she showed off her gorgeous Hollywood tan.  Tulisa also added a net underskirt to her dress in order to create volume, transforming Westwood’s creation into the perfect prom dress.

Cheryl Cole turned heads in Victoria Beckham’s floor-length dress in cadillac pink.  With its panelled waist and back zip detailing, VB’s dress was a real credit to the red carpet.  Cheryl’s curves were perfectly accentuated while allowing her to look sophisticated and feminine.

Christine Bleakley definitely got the memo that a Herve Leger frock is always a great choice for a simple yet show-stopping look.  The metallic gold bandage dress combined with a slightly darker metallic clutch complimented her gorgeous olive skin and dark hair.

Finally, Myleene Klass dazzled in a metallic grey Jacques Azagury mermaid gown.  Strapless and with pockets, this is the perfect dress for a glamorous yet functional look.  Myleene looked stunning with her flowing locks and matching clutch to complete her dress.

Cristina’s Monaco in the M Missoni Dress

Okay, so it was a while ago on the social calendar, but we couldn’t let it pass by without giving our buyer Cristina’s memorable trip to Monaco a mention.  Especially because she was giving our new M Missoni halter dress a test drive!  Cristina recounts her memorable Monaco moments….

What Cristina Wore:

Dress: Halter Maxi Dress- M Missoni

Evening: Leather Jacket – Fendi

Sandals: Patrizia Pepe

Bangles: My Mom’s

Clutches: White for Day/Black for evening -both Stella McCartney

What Cristina Did: Watched the Grand Prix – ‘it was so loud, even with the headphones!’

What Cristina Ate: ‘to be honest, I was disappointed in the food-couldn’t find a good club sandwich in the whole of Monaco!’

Who Cristina Said Hi to: Boy George!

Biggest Faux Pas Spotted: Tatiana Santo Domingo wearing a maxi shapeless dress with flats and undone hair – it just looked a bit beachy and not polished enough!

Main Trends Spied: ‘Lots of Herve Leger and dresses by Azzadine Alaia, (Monaco was mainly monochrome- lots of black and white and some nude). Lengths were mostly knee-length, there were lots of tailored blazers to be seen for evening.’

Any GMD Dresses Spotted? ‘Not apart from mine! I should have paid more attention!’

Event High-lights: The race itself was amazing! Listening to the F1 cars (theyre soooooo so so so loud) you have to wear special ear-muffs to prevent hearing loss.  The car engines can be heard all over the city as the race goes on as well- its very exciting! And seeing Richard Branson and Princess Beatrice at the Amber Lounge After Party (she was wearing a LBD and looked so pretty! I insist the media only prints bad pictures of her).

Event Low-lights: The casino. ‘It’s not as glitzy as it sounds. Oh and the service everywhere was terrible, might have been because it was the Grand Prix- who knows.’

Cristina dons a leather jacket & swaps her nude clutch for a dark one for evening
