Every girl loves a designer dress and here in GB we’re lucky to be home to some of the best British dress designers around, as well as the perfect designer dress hire service (sometimes we like to blow our own trumpet!).

With London Fashion Week SS14 coming up and some of the best designers heading to the capital to showcase their wares we here at GMD thought we’d share our top British Designers and their fabulous designer dresses available to hire on our site.

Christopher Kane

 Christopher Kane started his fashion life at Giles Deacon and Russell Sage before bravely launching his own label as soon as he graduated. He is best know for bringing  Galaxy Print to the mainstream and his iconic printed dress is definitely one of the more unique designer dresses to hire we have here at Girl Meets Dress. Although they lost their founder and namesake Lee McQueen in 2010 this British designer powerhouse recovered in spectacular style with the appointment of  Sarah Burton as Creative Director. Burton  then went on to design the most famous designer wedding dress of all time for The Duchess Of Cambridge’s 2011 wedding to Prince William.
