The premiere for Valentine’s Day the new film by Garry Marshall took place in LA last night. The stars impressed in their designer dresses with Anne Hathaway wearing a Marchesa strapless mini dress in blue and looked stunning .
One actress who seems to be hitting all the right notes in her red carpet dresses is Demi Moore, she wore a simple white Chanel dress with ruffled detail. Demi always looks phenomenal for her age and dress, which was adapted from the catwalk, is gorgeous. Jessica Biel wore a full length Oscar de la Renta evening dress and the one shouldered chiffon dress matched the Valentines Day title perfectly.

There’s always a sense of relief once January is out of the way, with things finally falling back into place after the holidays both in our personal lives and at work. And as we impatiently await the arrival of Fashion Week; slowly counting down the days, we remember that Valentine’s Day is still to come and immediately the anxiety begins to built up as we start to wonder what the best thing to do to mark the occasion may be. A colour that seems to have dominated the red-carpet so far this year is purple. We spotted celebrities Fergie, Leona Lewis, Alfre Woodward, Sandra Bullock, Jane Krakowski and Rose Byrne who all wore purple dresses to the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards Ceremony as did Heather Mills, Kym Marsh, Fearne Cotton and the lovely Angelica Bell to the National Television Awards. The red carpet was laid out again this week for The Grammy Awards which took place in LA on Sunday night. When the photos of the night came in we must say we wasn’t that impressed with the overall fashion on show,  although there were one or two looks which caught our eye.
The first was Miley Cyrus in this Herve Leger by Max Azria dress. The velvet and gold short mini dress was teamed up with some strappy heels and a cute black jewel encrusted clutch bag. We thought the overall look gave Miley the young, rock chic look which we thought suited her personality and age perfectly.
Another which we liked was Keri Hilson in this pink strapless dress by Dolce and Gabbana. The Pale Pink colour is yet another from the pastel colours collection which are the colours being seen all over the red carpets and catwalks this season. The dress was tight chiffon with a jewelled belt all which accentuated her curves beautifully.
One star we have to mention for her sheer outrageousness and originality is of course Lady Gaga. She wore another wacky outfit this one being a Giorgio Armani Prive Gown. Gaga’s yellow hair and crazy shoes which were 4 inch jewel  encrusted platforms gave her the space age look she wanted and the one thing she never fails to be…..unique.
