It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month so we’re thinking PINK.Â
London Fashion Week showed an array of pink themed runways ranging from Topshop Unique to Celine. Although it appears to be more of a spring/summer colour it’s clear that a winter wardrobe doesn’t need to be dull and dark. So put a spring in your step and embrace the pink trend this Autumn/Winter season.
Sandra Bullock recently wore a beautiful fuchsia dress in New York whilst promoting her new film which just proves that you can rock the pink trend in all seasons, weathers and locations! Teaming her outfit with a pair of nude heels, statement black bag and diva-esque sunglasses, it is clear that Bullock can rock bright colours and does so effortlessly!
We picked out our favourite 3 pink dresses in homage to Sandra and Breast Cancer Awareness.
This gorgeous strapless Marches Notte dress is so simple and the black lace detail adds to the simplicity. The dress evokes Hollywood Glamour and teamed with a small black clutch and patent peep toes will get all heads turning whatever the event.
There is nothing better than a strappy dress! Easy to wear and with the slight layering effect this Halston Heritage slip dress is perfect for a variety of shapes and sizes due to the way it hangs.
The Temperley Kiera Dress is a gorgeous figure hugging silk dress. With the slight, capped shoulders it is very much suited for women who are conscious of their arms as the attention is taken away from these areas and drawn to the zip detailing.

This ball gown is absolutely stunning. So simple yet oozes elegance and sophistication.

Nude cocktail dresses with embellishment really are gorgeous for a cocktail evening and this one is truly beautiful.
3. Victoria Beckham Lemon Sorbet Dress – £49
The shape of this cocktail dress with the colour blocking is so lovely and the details of the pockets along the waist adds that little extra something.
This is a knock out cocktail dress for a super special occasion. The low back is so sexy with the velvet and thin straps. So stunning.
This cocktail dress is covering yet suggestive so it is super sexy and elegant for an evening.

We’re having one of those days.
It’s wet. It’s cold and we want to be swanning around NYC with our pink tutu skirt and sky scraper heels. We want to be Carrie Bradshaw.
So, because of this we have decide to show your our interpretation of  ‘a day in the life on Carrie Bradshaw’ with GMD.
Morning coffee break with Stanford.Â
Carrie doesn’t usually do casual. We can see her now, strutting past central park towards Starbucks with Stanford on her right arm in this multi-coloured, floral Alice and Olivia print dress. Even if she is out on a morning stroll, we can’t imagine her wearing flats!
Lunch date with the girls.
This Alexander McQueen number is very Bradshaw. The quirky, almost butterfly-print pattern along with the use of pink and khaki would suit her down to a T with a pair of pointed stilettos and her out-of-control curly hair! This would be a perfect dress for a lunch date gossiping with Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda!
Cosmo’s with Samantha.
We’re thinking evening wear. Something a bit more fleshy and strappy and slinky! We’re thinking she would love this Alexander Wang grey and blue stripey dress, especially due to the slight sparkle.
Dinner with Mr Big.Â
Nothing beats a LBD, but Bradshaw doesn’t do simple or plain. This beautiful Alice and Olivia black dress is perfect for a night out with the only man in her life (well, except Manolo Blahnik!). The sheer maxi skirt is a beautiful touch on a simple dress that adds both edge and sexiness. We think Miss Bradshaw would approve!
So embrace Thursday and channel your inner Bradshaw.Â

Wardah Sempa is the fashion editor at Amor Magazine and loves everything fashion. Amor magazine is an independent online fashion, beauty, entertainment, music and lifestyle magazine that is printed quarterly.
As she is fashion editor and obviously knows a thing or two about fashion itself, we asked her for her expert opinion about her favourite Christmas dresses at GMD! (Yes, yes! We know it’s a bit early for Christmas but you have got to get straight in their and pick your favourites…before its too late!)
NLY Stella Dress Black
Wardah: I LOVE lace, and what better way to celebrate an occasion in style! Especially when wearing black. Not really a fan of peplum, but I personally think the dress wouldn’t look as good if the peplum was not added.
GMD: nothing beats a LBD.
Cheap Monday Vee Dress
W: Gotta love a silky dress, especially when it isn’t too difficult to wear!
 Â
Â
W: I love maxi dresses, especially as it is this LONG!
