1. Marc by Marc Jacobs Tootsie Dress – £69
I am in love with this cocktail dress! As a boyish figured girl it’s essential for me find dresses the creates shape and the fitted waist with a flared skater skirt certainly would do that. The blue pattern is so beautiful and just when you think it can’t get any cuter you see the bow belt. It manages to ooze class and sophisticated while still being really fun. Plus I already own the perfect shoes and clutch bag to pair the dress with so it must be fate, right?

2. McQ by Alexander McQueen – £49
No list of dresses could be complete without a classic little black cocktail dress. The peplum shape makes it incredibly flattering, particularly to add the appearance of curves. The paneling detail gives it that extra oomph. I feel like this dress is quite flirtatious but still very classy.

3. Jovani Blue Sequin Dress – £59
I’m like a magpie to anything sparkly so imagine my delight when I saw this gorgeous boutique cocktail dress! It’s the kind of dress that would set you apart from the crowd and definitely turn heads. With so much sparkling on the dress there is no need to fuss about finding matching jewellery which makes it easy to style.

4. Rag and Bone Niki Flared Dress – £49
This probably the most simple of all the cocktail dresses online but it would be amazing for showing off your figure. The bright jungle green colour is what attracted me first then up close I love the detailed texture. Perfect for seamlessly moving from day to night!

5. Alice and Olivia Papina Dress – £49
The shape off this button up cocktail dress gives a nod to era’s once gone and the cut out detail brings it back to modern times. Pretty with a twist. I love that the big skirt would be perfect for dancing. I know I wouldn’t be able to resist twirling all night!

Sophia is a 20-year-old Business Management student from Bedfordshire who counts blogging as a big part of her life. 1. Forever Unique Stardust Dress – £59
Every time I see this dress I seem to fall in love with it even more. I adore the bejewelled bust detailing and think it is a complete show stopped. I think it is the type of celebrity dress rental that would make you feel fabulous and fairy-tale esk!

2. Alice and Olivia Olympia Embellished Dress – £49
Alice and Olivia have some beautiful celebrity dresses and this is one of my favourites by them. It is quite a simple design but the gorgeous twinkling fabric is absolutely stunning. Paired with the right heels and accessories it would be the perfect evening outfit.

3. Diva Sophia Sophia Sequin Dress – £29

Not only is this a stunning celebrity dress but also check out it’s amazing name…Sophia! I am a sucker for sparkle and this instantly took my eye on the website as it is something really unique. The asymmetric design is very in on the runway, it is a very high fashion statement dress.

4. Ariella Sequin Fishtail Gown – £109

This is absolutely stunning…I adore the style, the fabric and all of the sparkling detailing. You can tell I have a love affair with sparkle! It is a fabulous red carpet dress…if only I had a red carpet event to go to! It’s something different compared to the other celebrity dresses as it is a classic long evening dress and I adore the complimenting high neck detailing.

5. Gorgeous Couture The Lacey Dress – £49

I had to include a LRD (Little Red Dress) as these are staples in any girl’s wardrobe! I adore the shoulder detailing on this gorgeous celebrity dress as it adds something really unique and different to a simple midi dress design. It’s a very versatile dress, which could be worn for a wide range of occasions!

1. Carven Voluminous Skirt Dress – £59
Carven fluttered on to my radar a couple of years ago and this is a perfect example of why I love their cocktail dresses. The full skirt has a flattering 50’s flare without being too dressy- perfect for lunch with the girls.

2. Erdem Garzoni Dress – £109
Dark and deadly florals feature heavily for A/W13 and I plan on adding a bouquet or two to my wardrobe. No one holds a candle to Erdem when it comes to floral cocktail dresses – utterly beautiful.

3. Helmut Lang Shale Draped Dress – £49
Any girl with curves knows draping is her friend. Helmut Lang weaved his magic and creates form flattering cocktail dresses in cool palettes of smoky grey and subtle greens. Love!

4. See by Chloe Shirt Blouse Dress – £69
Most days I have to be prised out of my pyjamas, so this ‘off to bed’ trend is a firm fave of mine. The See by Chloe silk cocktail dress has the same relaxed vibe.

5.  Issa Zebra Knit Dress – £49
Animal print is a tricky beast to tame, you can go from classy to brassy quicker than I can say ‘Liz McDonald’ (can’t beat a spot of Corrie). Personally I stick with zebra print as it’s easier to wear and mix with other pieces in my wardrobe.
